The President and Principle of CareStat has worked as an executive in the medical staffing industry for 20 years. She has experience as an EVP, VP and CNO in the Health Care Staffing and Home Health arenas, where she has been responsible for managing over 16 offices. Previously she founded a very successful medical staffing company which was acquired. Now, she has begun her own staffing firm with the emphasis on providing quality staff and serving the medical community in which she resides.

The name, CareStat, is indicative of the company’s motto…We Care! We care about your needs and because we care, our goal is to provide exceptionally skilled and qualified medical staff to meet Joint Commission requirements. After all, no company understands the critical concerns you have better than a seasoned nurse and healthcare executive.

The hiring criteria and personnel records follow the same requirements and standards as JCAHO.  As a client of CareStat, you can be assured that we will provide only the most qualified staff. Our management team consists of health care professionals who, after years of working in the industry, understand not only the skill requirements necessary for success, but also the personalities that are best suited for this line of work.

Screening Criteria
Before placing a health care professional in your facility, CareStat will provide the highest screening in the industry using the following criteria:
  • One year of recent experience in the specialty area in which they wish to work.
  • Passing score on written exams and competency in area of skill using Nationally Validated Tests.
  • Current, valid state licensure or certification (whichever is applicable).
  • Verification of licensure by State Licensing Board ensuring clear status.
  • Two professional references.
  • Current health certificate, completed annually.
  • TB Testing
  • Immunization Records
  • Completed I-9, with the necessary supporting documentation.
  • Blood borne pathogen, OSHA and Safety requirements.
  • Completion of the Skills Assessment Checklist.
  • Current CPR or BCLS card.
  • Complete background check for past 7 years!
  • 1o panel drug screen.
  • Sex offender screen.
