Orientation
Orientation is provided to our employees in a two step process. Once the applicant is accepted for hire, they attend an in-office orientation to become familiar with the expectations they can have of CareStat. It is at this time that CareStat’s expectation of professionalism and excellence is conveyed. We also provide hospital orientation information and schedule on-site orientations, as needed. Once the orientation is complete, the employee is then ready to be scheduled for assignments.
Qualifications/Quality Assurance

We have an ongoing quality assurance/peer review process that ensures that only the most qualified individuals continue their employment with CareStat. We welcome feedback on the performance of our health care professionals and will meet regularly with our clients to ensure this communication is ongoing and sustained throughout our partnership.

The results of our thorough screening process will be guarantee that all health personnel placed in your facility by CareStat are individually qualified, consistent within their scope of licensure, education and experience. The staff will also have familiarized themselves with hospital policies, procedures, regulations, and the philosophy of the individual facilities.

At CareStat, we utilize state of the art computer programs to ensure that staff are not placed without current, verified licensure and other required documents.

The qualifying examinations given by CareStat have been developed to reflect the most current standards of nursing practice and are updated as required. We utilize nationally recognized skill inventories and tests to insure the highest screening techniques in the industry.

A personal interview is then conducted by a medical staff member. The applicant’s work experience and skills inventory are explored in more detail along with their long and short-term goals. Two professional, health care related references are called at this time in order to verify experience and employment. Additionally, we require copies of medical documents including a health screening, TB Test, and immunization records. This careful process results in our employees meeting the general and health requirements of your facility.
